Some items are very time-consuming to get. Since the npc-wipe a lot has been spawned again but there are still significantly fewer of some vendors that are essential to gain some skills.
One example was scribes that sold very few recall scrolls. These have since been fixed and getting your hands on recalls is not that much of a hassle any more.
But there are still very few:
- Tailors. And tailors sell 25 spools of thread each which is incredibly few. Getting enough bandages to spar for a while takes A LOT of spools-shopping at the moment, especially if you have a warrior for hire which use about 1k bandages in 15 minutes (an approximation). - Bowyers. Now I don't know how bad this is. But bowyers sell rather few feathers and shafts (can't have arrows on buy agent because it will buy the ridiculously expensive silver arrows). - Tanners. Hides are scarce here, you get around 15 from each kill that is skinnable. Tanners sell regular hides which helps but they only sell 40 of them per restock... this is enough to make 3 studded tunics... - Snooping/stealing npcs in safe zones. There are a lot of good stealing/snooping npcs spawned, even a thief, but there is a huge gap because the highest vendor before thief (thief takes 130 skill) are jewelers, which only take 100 skill. A nobleman or artisan would be great. Or even a mage (the only npc that takes 110 skill).

tanners will have 200 hides after the next reboot. threads are changed to 50 (also the cost) nobleman and artisan are not in the scripts here so can't help on that

Nice, could use a few more tailors spawned also. I have most tailors marked I think, and even clearing all of them nets me around 3k bandages. 6k after the update will be better but still really low.
For comparison, on Dreams I would buy all spools in Umbra only and get like 6-10k bandages, I think they sold 250 or 500 each.
